When surgery is completed, you will be taken to the recovery room for a period of close observation. Your blood pressure, heart rate, breathing, and body temperature will be closely monitored by the recovery room staff.
When you leave the hospital, your arm will be in a sling. The sling should be worn for the amount of time recommended by your surgeon.
